Military Monday - Veteran's Day - Monday November 11, 2013

Sends Out an Invitation to All
Veterans Day
Monday - November 11, 2013
10:30 a.m. – Veterans assemble at south end of cemetery (Spanish-American War, Civil War Sections) - the procession along the "Avenue of Flags" concluding at the Veterans Memorial.
11am - A memorial service will be held in the cemetery's gazebo with lmusic and ocal leaders, Americna Legion, VFM and music/singers.
This service will honor those who served our community, state, and nation.

Sylvan Cemetery 7401 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights


The Citrus Heights post of the American Legion #637 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold a Veterans Day service on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Verterns Memorial and gazebo located at the Sylvan Cemetry. This service wil honor all those who served in the defense of this great nation. The event is hosted by the American Legion, Post #637, Commanded by Paul Reyes and by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Invited speakers are Supervisor 4th District Roberta MacGlasham, Citrus Heights Mayor Steve Miller, Citrus Heights Police Chief Christopher Boyd and members of the Citrus Heights city council. Other present will be Citrus Heights Boy Scott Troop 3228, the Folsom Harmony Express singers, the Citrus Heights Police Department Honor Guard and bugler Ray Latimer.
