Speaker: Lisa Louise Cooke
Program: Common Surname Strategies - discover tips and tricks to find your ancestors with common surnames.  Lisa is a nationally known author and host of the Genealogy Gems Podcast.  Her books and CDs will be available for purchase at the program.

Speaker: Janice Sellers
Program: Using Newspapers in Genealogical Research.  Newspapers are valuable in genealogical research because you can find information about births, deaths, marriages, moves, business, naturalizations, court cases, and more. Millions of pages of the world's newspapers are now accessible online, but there is no one place to find them all. Janice will give an overview of what is available and how to find it, and teach you some techniques to find your ancestors in the paper.
